Q: Favorite Regency Moment?

A: Walks and trips with clients in the neighborhood or surrounding areas either around McCarron’s house, Selby house (in past), and places in Minnesota.

Q: What do you like most about being a nurse/PCA/Etc?

A: Teaching, sharing my knowledge, learning from others (clients and nurses) and using my creative thoughts to solve problems. Being able to recognize and to promote a comprehensive picture for our client’s health care needs.

Q: What do you like to do for fun/hobbies?

A: Cooking, baking, traveling, gardening (both vegetables and flowers), cleaning, and walks and experiences in nature.

Q: Favorite quote or a word of advice to other nurses/healthcare professionals?

A: You can learn much from your clients; be open to receiving along with your giving of care. Work as a team; everyone has something special to give in they own nursing perspective and be willing to participate for the benefit of both nurse and client.

Please remember that ALL 2014 in-services are due on January 31, 2014. 

Nurses:  Once you have turned in your in-services, you will receive 1.5 CEU’s.  You are able to pick up your certificate at the Little Canada office at any time.

National Home Care Month

November is National Home Care month!  This is an opportunity to recognize how important in-home care is and those that make it happen.  Thank You to all the wonderful caregivers who are making it possible for so many to live at home, because home is where we want to be!

Homecare allows for a wide variety of services ranging from Nursing and Respiratory Therapy to Personal Care Attendants and Homemaking.  These services are important to keep those in need of on-going care, to be able to live as independently as possible.
